Farmers in the Dominican Republic conduced a test on their bell peppers.
On one plot they used their normal fertilization and on another they only used SumaGrow with no added fertilizers.
There was a 14.3% gram increase on the SumaGrow treated bell peppers. There was also increased foliage, increased root structure, all on top of the increased weight per fruit. The increase weight per fruit moved many of the peppers from a grade of small and very small to large and extra large resulting in a higher price per pound paid to the farmer, though no actual count was made.
The farmers also saved $293 by using SumaGrow instead of the normal fertilization.
