C. Richie McNamee, Chairman and Founder of SumaGrow International, is a seasoned entrepreneur whose visionary outlook has propelled him from various successful careers into the realm of global agriculture. Starting with a background in life insurance where he remains active, Richie’s professional journey includes significant time at pharmaceutical giant Merck and in advertising sales. His diverse experience provided him with a unique perspective on business development and consumer engagement, which he later channeled into becoming a venture capitalist in the 1970s. In this role, Richie raised millions of dollars to fund innovative ideas, demonstrating his knack for recognizing and nurturing potential.

In his current role as the Chairman and Founder of SumaGrow International, Richie is focused on marketing and selling SumaGrow, a revolutionary agricultural product, on a global scale. His efforts are dedicated to advancing sustainable agricultural practices that offer both economic and environmental benefits. A fun fact about Richie highlights his multifaceted life: he was once offered a professional basketball contract with the team that eventually became the Los Angeles Lakers, a team he has continued to support as a season ticket holder for over 45 seasons. Richie’s broad range of experiences and lifelong achievements reflect his status as a true dreamer and doer, making him a pivotal force in driving SumaGrow International’s mission forward.

Margarita Roxas McNamee, known by the nickname Tata, is the Scion of the Roxas family of Manila, owners and operators of the exclusive Hidden Valley Springs Resort in Laguna, Philippines for several decades.  The movie, Apocalypse Now, was filmed there, starring Marlin Brando, Martin Sheen, and Francis Ford Coppola.

Tata’s former partner, Arturo Trinidad (deceased) was the President of Philippine National Bank. (PNB). 

Tata is a graduate of Assumption College, one of the leading institutions in Manila. She also attended Harvard University briefly. Then she launched a successful Bond brokerage firm in Manila.

Tata has also headed up several real estate development projects and is currently in the process of developing another major project in the Laguna province, south of Manila. 

For the past 20 years Tata has been married to Richie McNamee the Founder and Chairman of SumaGrow International. Her unique business experiences have prepared her to assume the position of Vice Chair for the company.

Mohammad Elayyan, the CEO of SumaGrow International, exemplifies a dynamic blend of entrepreneurial spirit and robust business acumen, honed across diverse sectors from retail in Jordan to the car and vape industries in the United States. His varied career path includes significant roles from owning a grocery store in Chicago to becoming the highest-paid General Sales Manager in Fresno’s car business. Following a venture into the vape industry, Mohammad ventured into the electric vehicle sector as the CEO of MSN Simple Energy, where he focused on manufacturing level 3 fast chargers—a testament to his commitment to innovation and sustainable technologies. This experience, while challenging, honed his leadership skills and prepared him for his pivotal role at SumaGrow International, which he assumed in December 2021.

Under Mohammad’s guidance, SumaGrow International is not just advancing agricultural technology but also strategically enhancing its global footprint. His leadership is marked by a clear focus on sustainable agricultural technologies and a drive to extend the company’s reach internationally. Leveraging his extensive international business experience, Mohammad is adept at navigating diverse market dynamics, which is crucial in positioning SumaGrow’s eco-friendly solutions across various global agricultural sectors. His commitment to ethical practices and sustainable development is not only transforming SumaGrow into a key player in the agricultural industry but also making a significant impact on global agriculture, aligning innovative technologies with environmental stewardship on an international scale.

With a storied background as the driving force behind Braga Farms DFW, Jefferson’s firsthand experience in sustainable agriculture provides him with an unparalleled depth of insight into the industry’s nuances and challenges. This, coupled with his impressive tenure in program management at Microsoft and expertise in Google SEO & Marketing, equips him with a unique blend of skills to spearhead Sumagrow International’s marketing strategy. His ability to marry agricultural knowledge with advanced technological proficiencies—including Software as a Service (SaaS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)—positions him as an ideal leader to guide the company through its next phase of growth and digital transformation.

Yared Degefe is a seasoned Environmental Engineer with a specialized focus on environmental irrigation and sustainable water solutions. With a strong foundation in designing agricultural water supply systems and fertigation.

Currently, Yared is the East African partner for Sumagrow International, a leader in bio-fertilizer solutions. In this role, Yared combines technical expertise in environmental systems with a proven track record in sales to promote and support Sumagrow’s mission of sustainable agriculture across the region. Through tailored solutions and personalized client support, Yared actively collaborates with agricultural stakeholders, sharing valuable insights on how bio-fertilizers can improve crop yield and soil health.

With years of experience in the industry, including roles with prominent companies, Yared brings a deep understanding of both engineering and client relations. As a dedicated partner of Sumagrow International, Yared is committed to fostering sustainable growth in East Africa, supporting local farmers, and contributing to the broader vision of a greener, more productive future.

With a distinguished career spanning decades, Bob is a driving force behind SumaGrow’s mission to revolutionize sustainable farming practices globally.

As CTO, Bob oversees the technical aspects of SumaGrow’s operations, leveraging his deep understanding of computer science and cutting-edge technologies to spearhead the development of groundbreaking solutions. In addition to his technical acumen, Bob is known for his collaborative approach and commitment to driving positive change in the agricultural industry. 

With Bob Bell at the helm as CTO, SumaGrow International continues to lead the charge in sustainable agriculture, empowering farmers to achieve greater productivity, profitability, and environmental stewardship through innovative microbial technology.   • Founder and CEO of Kitchen Nation, the first cloud kitchen of its kind in the region, established in 2015, more than 85 joint virtual restaurants have benefited. Starting with two branches in Dubai, and the fourth quarter of 2022 two additional facilities will open in the UAE, currently launching their first international branches in Saudi Arabia.
