Real Farmers. Real Results.

See how growers around the world boosted yields, cut costs, and transformed their farms with SumaGrow.

SumaGrow Testimonial Sorghum Murphree

Sorghum - Murphree Farms, Mississippi

Mississippi farmer Charles Murphree brought us a stalk of freshly‐harvested sorghum cane with had been treated with SumaGrow.

When this stalk was harvested, approximately 2 feet were cut off the top and approximately 6 inches from the bottom. This left the remaining can measuring in at approximately 10 feet 2 inches in length.

Mr. Murphree stated that his sorghum normally reaches an average height of only five and a halt to six feet in height.

Hay - Louisiana

Robert and Larisa Stewart traveled from Louisiana to attend our third quarter seminar in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Robert charmed and entertained our attendees as he recounted the story about his “infamous hay.”

Robert and Larisa began using SumaGrow in 2008 after reading an article in Popular Science

entitled “The Future of Farming: Eight Solutions for a Hungry World,” where the technology of SumaGrow was a featured solution. After treating his fields with SumaGrow, the forage grew in earlier and thicker, with more even coverage. Although he knew the quality of his hay had greatly improved, he was surprised when his hay became so widely well‐known.

“I got a call from a man in central Texas asking me if I could sell him some hay,” Robert laughed. “Man, do you know where I live and how far that is from you?” Another man called him from southern Mississippi asking him the same question. They had heard about the quality of his hay and distance wasn’t a problem.

“All I can say is that this product really works,” Robert said.

Tomatoes - Barr Farms, Mississippi

Pam and James Barr picked over 1,000 lbs of tomatoes in one thankful, yet exhausting day. James and Pam have owned Barr Farms, a family dairy, for over 30 years and decided last year to grow their family garden into one for resale purposes.

Moving forward with their vision, they purchased a 30 by 96 foot high tunnel last fall with a costshare from the Natural Resources Conservation Service that stipulated that all produce must be grown using organic methods. Pam chose to use only a product containing SumaGrow.

“We were introduced to SumaGrow products about three years ago and loved the results,” Pam said. She expected good results, but was concerned what the extreme heat would do to this year’s crop. “We’ve never had this kind of production before. It’s amazing the difference this product makes.”

Pam found that out for herself as her friends and customers praised her tomatoes. “Everybody tells me these are the best tomatoes they’ve ever eaten.”

Tobacco - Elliot Farms, NC

These photos were sent in by Thomas Elliott, owner of Elliott Farms in North Carolina. Mr. Elliott grows around 100 acres of tobacco among other crops.

He treated 30 acres of tobacco with SumaGrow at the recommended split application of one gallon per acre. Both treatments were foliarly applied (leaf as opposed to soil application). The remaining acres were treated only with conventional fertilizer.

The SumaGrow treated fields had no disease or pest problems, not even the dreaded tobacco worm, despite having received no pesticide or herbicide application. The leaves were golden all the way to the top and perfect for harvesting. The untreated fields were destroyed by the frost and were not harvestable.

Tulsi Plants Treated with SumaGrow in India

A SumaGrow representative in India has been doing comparisons between Tulsi plants treated with SumaGrow and untreated plants. The pictures show the differences on the Tulsi plant, known as the “Queen of Herbs” ‐ the most sacred herb of India.

The representative stated his leaves typically only grow to 2.5 to 3 centimeters (Wikipedia notes they can grow “up to 5 cm long”) while the SumaGrow treated leaves were 6 centimeters long after only four weeks of treatment.

Navy Beans - Nellet, Michigan

Richard Nellet farms 700 acres of corn and navy beans. “We treated half our crops with “SumaGrow” and the results simply amazed us. We are seeing a 20% better yield on the SumaGrow treated crops at a lower cost because SumaGrow costs less than the conventional fertilizer we have been using. Next year I am going to treat all my crops with SumaGrow.

SumaGrow Testimonial Herrin Ornamental

Ornamental Flowers - Petal, Mississippi

Arthur Herrin in Petal, Mississippi uses only products containing SumaGrow on his ornamental flowers and garden. He decided to conduct his own experiment using the ornamental plants growing alongside his back porch. He treated the left side with a product containing SumaGrow while the right side went untreated. Until these photos were taken, his wife, Pat, had no idea of his experiment and was a little chagrined after discovering what was “wrong” with the right side of her ornamental plants. Arthur reported that he was no longer conducting this particular experiment.

Vegetable Garden - Mississippi

After seeing a news article on TV about SumaGrow, I decided to give it a try. I have a raised bed vegetable garden in the back yard of my home. I’ve gardned this way for the last several years. It has always been a successful way to garden but I have never had such a dramatic results as I have seen since applying SumaGrow only one time. The plants are greener, healthier, and stronger than they have ever been. They are larger and each plant is loaded with fruit.

I was very skeptical about the product in the beginning, but I believe it will be a very beneficial tool in gardening vegetables and flowers. All my plants have grown so green and so sturdy that I cannot wait so see the harvest. SumaGrow has made a believer out of me.

I have not used any commercial fertilizer at all and still have these great results using only SumaGrow.

1 Ton More Watermelons - Wiggins, MS

“After several visits to a watermelon patch in Wiggins, Mississippi it was finally time to test the product. The farmer had already told me that the varieties that had SumaGrow applied looked like they had more melons than the untreated areas of the field, and after two pickings through the field he told me it looked like the SumaGrow treated areas were yielding approximately one ton per acre MORE than untreated areas!

And how good does SumaGrow taste? I brought two melons from the treated area and two from an untreated area back to the Bio Soil office for sampling. The melons were cut and the staff tasted both samples and had no problem identifying the SumaGrow treated melons. The SumaGrow melons were much sweeter tasting than the untreated melons. There you go, the proof really is in the pudding.”

collards, mustard, scallions

Billie Davis - Collards, Mustard, Scallions

Billie Davis, a farmer in Dover, Florida has been growing collards, mustard, scallions and black eye peas on his farm for 45 years.

“My young crop has never looked this good and healthy at this stage of the growing season,” Davis said shortly after using a SumaGrow‐containing product for the first me. “The bugs are not chewing on these young, tender plants.”

Mr. Davis used no fertilizer because of the recommended reduction or elimination of fertilizers when using a product containing SumaGrow. “I have been spending around $2000 for my fertilizer. My {SumaGrow} cost was under $500. I called and order my {SumaGrow} and it was delivered within a week. A higher yield at a lower cost with fewer bugs is a win/win/win for my farm. I have already placed my {SumaGrow} order for my spring crop.”

The watermelon on the left was purchased from a local food store as a comparison. It measured 20” long, 29 1/2” around and weighed 22.6lbs. The Tall Harvest watermelon measured 30 1/2” long, 48” around and weighed 110lbs. The 96lb watermelon (not pictured) measured 33 1/2” long, and 44 1/2” around.

A Tale of a 110lb Watermelon‐Really

Arthur Herrin walked into the Bio Soil corporate offices on Monday morning asking for help carrying his 110lb and 96lb watermelons inside.

Arthur and his wife Pat are home gardeners and have been using SumaGrow solely for the past two summers. “I didn’t purchase a single cup of commercial fertilizer this year,” Arthur said.

Arthur first applied a product containing SumaGrow around the beginning of April, during planning, and then one other application three weeks later. “The thing that surprises me is that I gave these watermelons no special treatment. I didn’t prune the vines and they were only watered four or five times as I was gone the whole month of June.” Arthur said that he also planted round watermelons and grew a “truckload of those.” Although Arthur donates most of his produce to the senior citizens in his church, he said the rest of his garden produced so well he almost couldn’t give anymore away.

“SumaGrow does the job, I’m a believer in this product.”

The attached pictures are from Grant Lynch, the president of the International Speedway Corporation and chairman of the Super Speedway of Talladega. He applied SumaGrow on the deer plots that are owned by and part of the property of the Talladega Speedway.

His email to SumaGrow read:

“Thank you SumaGrow, I truly am amazed at the product.

Last night I had one hunter who hunted the field with SumaGrow and another who hunted the one without SumaGrow.

No deer in the one without, 20 in the field treated with SumaGrow.

The fields are less than a mile from each other.”
